Terms and Conditions and Campsite Rules

We have a relaxed attitude and respectful approach and atmosphere, and the Terms, conditions and rules are there to protect everyone’s experience while with us. Please make sure you read them and are aware and respect them. A copy is available on the website and on the noticeboard on site.
We will not pass on your data to any 3rd party at any time. If you wish to unsubscribe from any mail outs from us, please let us know. Your data is stored securely and only used for booking purposes.

General Camping Rules and Terms and Conditions
By booking, you and all members of your party or group agree to the Terms, conditions, and rules.
You can check in between 1pm and 6pm. Out of hours can be arranged, please contact us. If you need very late or early check in, there may be a surcharge of £5 added on arrival.
Please check out by 11.30am. If you wish to check out later, please check with us beforehand as your pitch may booked for another person after you.
1. We accept all campers but expect all campers to be respectful and considerate to all other guests and the land/site/area. We reserve the right to refuse admission.
2. All children must always be supervised by an adult. This is a strict policy. We cannot take responsibility for supervision of children or dogs.
3. There is a speed limit of 5mph across the whole site. Please respect this for yours and everyone else’s safety. This is also a strict policy and repeat speeding may cause you to be asked to leave site.
4. We welcome well behaved dogs, but they are your responsibility and must be kept on a lead and supervised. Ensure you clear up any mess and use the dog waste bins provided. Any aggresive dogs may cause you to be asked to leave site.
5. Music must be reasonable volume and turned off by 23:00 at the latest. Please be respectful of noise at all times. Tents and vans have thin walls and sound travels easily.
6. We allow BBQs and firepits and some will be available for hire but please ensure you keep them raised off the grass. Any burnt grass may incur a damages charge. No fires or lit flames inside any Tents at all. Please check all fire safety information on site before lighting any fires. BBQ or firepit waste should be disposed of in the bins provided but please ensure all fires and embers are extinguished before disposing of them.
7. Smoking is forbidden in any of the inside facilities on site and please be aware of other guests around you. Dispose of any smoking waste in suitable ashtrays and bins. Make sure the waste is not still alight before disposing of it.
8. You may bring your own alcohol but please remove all waste and empties in the appropriate waste bin. Unruly drunken behaviour or abuse will not be tolerated, and you may be asked to leave if it disturbs other campers.
9.  ALL rubbish and waste must be disposed of in the appropriate bins provided. Do not leave items on site, please take all your items with you.
10. We are not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage of any of your personal possessions while on the site. We have CCTV at the entrance and exit but we cannot guarantee access to recordings unless a serious act. This does not absolve your own responsibility. We have Public Liability insurance but cannot accept responsibility for personal injury if sustained on our land due to your own negligence.
11. We do not allow generators, fireworks, or floating lanterns on site at all.
12. Please be respectful of your pitch and leave it in good condition and cleared of all your items on departure and maintained well during your stay.
13. We will not tolerate abusive or aggressive behaviour towards us or other campers and will ask you to leave the site if found to be doing so. There will be no refund in this case.
14. Bookings of groups can pitch 3m apart, but single bookings must be 6 m apart from another pitch. This is a legal requirement.
15. Visitors are allowed on site but must also be your responsibility and follow the same rules and terms. They must only park in the car park area provided and must sign in and out on arrival and departure. They can come on site between 9am and 23.00 only. No extra overnight stays without asking and paying the extra Adult supplement. See rates for fees for visitors.
16. If you plan on arriving back on site after 22:00, you must park your vehicle in the car park area designated to not disturb other campers.
20. It is recommended that you purchase some form of holiday insurance, from your local broker, to cover your personal luggage, personal money, holiday cancellation, personal & public liability etc.
21. Each person in your group or visitors you have during the day must be prepared to identify themselves to the site owners or staff upon request and comply with their reasonable requirements.
22. We reserve the right to refuse any booking without any obligation to give a reason and/or reserve the right to terminate any booking for whatever reason at our absolute discretion.
22. No refund will be made to the camper whose pitch booking has commenced and who vacates the site for any reason including an emergency home. Any flexibility on this is at the strict discretion of Farleigh Road Camping.
23. If booking through one of the listings or booking platforms then the Terms and Conditions of those platforms apply for deposits, payments, and refunds.
24. If booking direct then we will set the Terms for deposits, payments and refunds. 50% deposit and balance payment at least 30 days before arrival.
25. Due to the nature of the site being adjacent to a working family business, all campers must be respectful and tolerant towards the business staff and clients and we will expect the same towards the campers.
26. We are not responsible for anything that happens if campers go out of bounds of the camp perimeters and signposted areas.
COVID 19
It is your responsibility to follow all COVID 19 guidelines while on site and respect the social distancing or other guidance indicated and in accordance with Government guidelines.

Cancellations (for direct bookings). For any bookings made through Pitch Up, please see their terms and conditions:
If you cancel and have only paid the 50% deposit. This will not be refunded.
If you cancel and have paid the full balance and it is before 30 days of the arrival date then the cancellation fee is 50% of the full booking (Essentially the deposit amount)
If you cancel and have paid the full amount and it is between 30 and 14 days of arrival date then the cancellation fee is 60% of the full booking amount.
If you cancel and have paid the full amount and it is between 14 and 7 days of arrival date then the cancellation fee is 75% of the full booking amount.
If you cancel and have paid the full amount and it is within 7 days of arrival date then the cancellation fee is 80% of the full booking amount.
If you cancel and have paid the full amount and it is within 2 days of arrival date then the cancellation fee is 100% of the full booking amount.
If you cancel due to COVID positive test we will refund 50% of the full booking amount upon proof of positive test. We will also offer credit or to delay the booking where possible.
If you cancel due to Travel and Government COVID restrictions we will refund 50% of the total booking amount and offer credit for the deposit for later booking where possible. If not possible we will refund the full amount.
